The Greater Kasai region has always been neglected by the country’s authorities since the country’s independence. In 2016 the region was devastated by arm conflicts between government forces and the Kamuina Nsampu Population. The conflict brought about an ethnic cleansing crisis resulting in more than 3,000 dead and more than 20 villages decimated. The local communities are completely destroyed.  We want to encourage the people to rebuild their lives, helping them help themselves, based on community engagement.  

One community at a time in The Greater Kasai Region, we aim to achieve social justice for the neglected and the forgotten.  We work to reach gender equality through empowering women and bring about poverty eradication.
